Have you heard about BIPOC MAKE-ALONG 2019?
My friend, Elisabeth from Desamour Designs, together with BIPOC Makers Project are hosting this BIPOC MAKE-ALONG 2019 event. Elizabeth has been a good friend and she’s one of my maker friends who encouraged and pushed me to start my own blog. She believes in me, in my craft skills and that is a big thing for me. Anyways, this is not about me so let’s continue! Elisabeth is a crochet designer and a social media marketer. It is her goal to spread her knowledge and share the joy of creating.
BIPOC Makers Project is a platform where BIPOC | POC makers get seen while being financially supported for their work. It is dedicated to highlighting and uplifting the work of Black, Indigenous and People of Colour in the fiber community.
Together, they teamed up to bring us this one-of-a-kind make-along! To learn more about these awesome people, please visit their websites here and here.
What is BIPOC MAKE-ALONG 2019?
BIPOC MAL 2019 is going to start on September 2nd and will end on November 4th, 2019. You can join the party within that period.
All you have to do is crochet or knit ANY free or paid pattern(s) from Desamour Designs or from a BIPOC designer — list can be found here.

The most exciting part of this event is the weekly prizes! Yes, you’ll have a chance to win some amazing prizes from BIPOC businesses! And speaking of prizes, I am sponsoring the first week prize – (2) Maker shirts in your choice of size and color (black, white, blue and grey.)
