Hi!
It’s been quite a while since I last posted! Well, I’ve been taking a little bit of breaks here and there. Also, I’ve been working on some new designs. And speaking of new designs, I have one I’d love to talk about today!

This design is once again in collaboration with my dear friend, Odessa, from Dreamers Yarn. To me, she makes the prettiest gradient yarn cakes. You can visit her website to see some of her gorgeous yarns! You can also check out her Facebook Page, where she is more active and does auctions, sales, raffle draws, and giveaways.
Now, let’s discuss the design.

INSPIRATION
The design inspiration for this shawl was taken from the “Jacob’s Ladder Stitch”. Are you familiar with this stitch pattern? Do you know how to crochet it? I got so attracted to the braids or cable look of this stitch. The textures it creates is just so beautiful that I said, I have to incorporate it in my next design. And so the birth of the Twist and Loop Shawl.
What about the name? Yes, the name! Most of the time, it’s so hard for me to name my pattern. With this design, the name just came to me. With “Jacob’s Ladder Stitch”, the loops are being placed and looped over the next chain loop up to the last loop. With my pattern, the loops are being twisted first before placing and looping them to the chain loop up to the last loop. I had so much fun creating and making this shawl pattern. It is my prayer that you’ll feel the same way when you make yours!
As much as I love sharing my patterns for free, this one is a paid pattern. By purchasing this pattern, you will help me pay some bills and with this, I’ll be able to continue to share more of my other patterns for free. Your love and support mean so much to me! I appreciate you!

You can purchase the Twist and Loop Shawl pattern in my Ravelry shop. Purchasing the PDF file helps to support my blog and allows me to continue to share my patterns with you. You can also buy the kit from Dreamers Yarn (your choice of gradient yarn cake + the pattern).
Now, let’s take a look at the amazing shawls that my testers have made. I can’t thank them enough for all the help and support they gave me in finishing this shawl pattern. Thank you, ladies! You make me so happy!

Aren’t these shawls beautiful? What color(s) do you think would you make yours? I am so excited to see your shawl! Please tag me and use the hashtags included in the pattern so I can see your pretty shawls and share them on my Instagram and Facebook Page!
Happy crocheting!

Your shawl is beautiful! I’m following the E’Claire Makery Blog Hop & received the daily email showing your lovely shawl for today. I’m trying to access her website for the Ravelry code but unfortunately it is inaccessible with only the following message showing:
