Trying Something New

Have you attempted something new during this quarantine crisis?

I’m all out to experimenting and exploring something new! It helps me think and enhance my knowledge and cultivate my hidden skills.

Crafting is very therapeutic! Creating something pretty helps boost your energy level and gives you a great feeling of accomplishment!

I was so fortunate to be able to try out the new Beads Monthly Subscription box from Darn Good Yarn. This project kit is a beginner friendly. This is my first time making my very first necklace using beads and I’m obsessed!

So let’s take a look at what’s in the box.

The monthly box includes the detailed step-by-step instructions, all the beads to complete the featured kit each month and notions. You may also need some additional materials (which are not included in the kit) like pliers or crimping tools, scissors or wire cutters, ruler and bead board (optional).

Each month you get a different project. A surprise kit! This will help you learn new skills and techniques about beading. Exciting, right?

Raindrop Beaded Necklace Kit

I really love this kit that I received. First, I love anything that has blue shades. Second, the instructions in making this kit are simple and super easy to follow. I recommend having the bead board so you could easily lay out the beads in order. This is something that I don’t have and I will definitely get one for myself.

How pretty is that?! It really is cute!

It’s all done and I’m excited to wear it! This two-tiered statement necklace is the perfect accessory to your everyday outfit!
