Hi friends! Happy summer!

I have a new pattern releasing today over at Joy of Motion Crochet. It is the Sea Shades Shawlette Shawl. This is a summer shawl but like any other shawls I designed, you can make this shawl all-year round. I used Dreamers Yarn fingering weight (#1) gradient cotton cake but you can use any yarn weight and fabric. Of course, you have to adjust your crochet hook size when using other yarn weight.

This airy and elegant shawlette is a perfect addition to your wardrobe even in the summer. It is great to use as an overlay or a topper to your summer outfit on a chilly walks in the beach or in the park.

You can view the Sea Shades Shawlette as a free pattern on Joy of Motion Crochet – Free Crochet Patterns but you can also purchase the inexpensive pdf copy with a pattern chart through my Ravelry shop. Purchasing the PDF file helps to support my blog and allows me to continue to share my patterns with you.
Let’s take a look at my amazing testers beautiful finished Sea Shades Shawlette! Maybe these will inspire you to make one for yourself or for a special someone!
