Hi friends!
If you are wondering where I am, well I am still here! Just too much on my plate to take in that I seldom have time for my craft and share my work here! I do have a few creations that I will be posting so keep an eye and stay in the loop.
I have some new patterns in the making and I am slowly working on finishing them. One project at a time! I am grateful for the friends on social media that I met on my crochet journey. They inspire and motivate me to keep moving and doing what I love to do. They even send me items to work on for a project. One of them gave me yarns. These yarns are what this new pattern that I am sharing today is made from.
So my friends at Forbidden Fiber Co. sent me their Winter Palette in Pride DK earlier this year. Right when I received these gorgeous yarns with sparkles, I knew for sure that I will make a shawl. I browse through the net and check my crochet books for inspiration and I settled on a cable pattern. My love for designing shawls and crocheting cables is the main source of inspiration for this new design.

So, without any further delay, let us welcome my new shawl pattern, the Parfait Shawl! Naming a pattern is not always easy for me so I asked for help. One suggested Parfait Shawl! What came to mind when I saw that name was the yogurt parfait. Parfait usually has layers of colors. Parfait in French means perfect! So that’s it! Parfait it is! Perfect!

The Parfait Shawl is an asymmetrical triangle with a 2-row repeat pattern. It is a pretty easy project once you get the hang of the pattern repeats. The cable crochet design gives an amazing texture and it is reversible, too!
