When I was just starting to learn how to crochet, I had no idea on what tools – the right crochet hooks and yarns – to use! I remember going to Hobby Lobby with my husband and we got a loom knitting kit and a skein of yarn; see how clueless I was then? Haha! Well, at least that kit has a crochet hook included! I tried loom knitting, but I just got bored with it, so I stopped!
I started watching YouTube video tutorials about crochet and I got hooked! I started using the crochet hook from that kit I got and the yarn I had at that time. I practiced and practiced until I mastered some basic stitches.
When I finally was able to crochet a hat, my husband bought me more yarns and a Boye Crochet Hook Set. These new tools made me more excited and eager to learn more and more about crochet. Part of this learning process was the discovery on other crochet hook brands. I’ve seen other crocheters using different kinds of hooks, from wood to aluminum to ergonomic hooks! I got intrigue with Clover Amour Crochet Hooks and I wanted to try it badly! I was really so excited with this hook that as soon as I received it, I started using it! I instantly fell in love with this hook and I wanted to have the whole set! You might call it luck, but I call it a blessing! You know what? A friend of mine, Anabelle of Crochet Treasures, gifted me the whole set! Whatttt? Yes, you read it right! I got the set as a gift! Woot woot!!! I’m proud to say that I have the best crafty friends on earth!
I’ve been using my Clover Amour Crochet Hooks in most crochet projects I make. In my opinion, they are the most softest and the most comfortable hooks to use. I love their vibrant colors which was designed to easily identify sizes. They are absolutely so easy to use, easy to hold, allow the yarn to slide smoothly without splitting and definitely make crocheting stress free. I don’t know with you, but I have tried some other crochet hook brands and I must say that Clover Amour Crochet Hooks is still my go-to, my number one and my favorite hooks to use!
